Interview with Nicole Dean-Avoiding Content Creation Overwhelm

Nicole DeanNicole Dean is the co-owner of Coach Glue, along with Melissa Ingold. They develop and create done-for-you content, tools, forms, and training to help business coaches to make more money, run their businesses smoothly, and still have time to live the lifestyle they dream of. Another expression for “done-for-you” is Private Label Rights, meaning that when you buy the content, you can (and should) edit it, call it your own, and do almost anything with it — give it away as a freebie, sell it as a course, use it as part of a membership program, and so on.

In this 18-minute interview, Nicole talks about how she helps coaches avoid the overwhelm of creating enough content both for their clients and for marketing. Below the video, you can read a summary of what Nicole says and also get the links to her two great free offers:

  • A collection of 17 forms to use when onboarding a client
  • A free coaching program called “7 Ways to Add More Subscribers to Your List this Month”

Finding the balance between what feels right and going beyond your comfort zone

online-business-finding-balance-what-feels-right-going-beyond-comfort-zoneSometimes, coaches and other thought leaders say something like this:

“Follow your passion. Do what you love. Listen to your heart. If it doesn’t feel right, don’t do it.”

Other times they say something like this:

“You can’t achieve your goals without moving beyond your comfort zone. Any action is better than inaction. Get out there and stretch yourself.”

Did it ever occur to you that these common statements are contradictory?

So how do you decide?

For some people, stretching is fun

I think that most successful entrepreneurs manage to achieve both because they like stretching, it feels comfortable to them. Doing something new is fun for them, even exciting.

But some people need to overcome their fears, because doing something new and taking risks are uncomfortable to them. Read More

Why coaches have a coach

3Comments

online-business-why-coaches-have-a-coach-1A couple of months ago, I found a coach and hired him. His name is Paul B. Evans and I signed on for a lifetime deal of email coaching. I love the arrangement and I’m very impressed with Paul’s knowledge and support. It works for me because I can email him whenever I have a question and I get a helpful answer.

For example, when I create a sales page, I ask him to review it and he gives me great ideas for improving the text and graphics.

In my experience, most coaches have a coach — even the most experienced, successful ones earning 6 to 7 figures per year. They appreciate the process of being coached and want to have someone to guide them to even higher success.

I also have clients

While I have my own coach, I also have clients. How do I get clients? Read More

Grow Your Online Business: Day 30 (Ultimate Blog Challenge) What are you going to do now?

1Comments

online-business-grow-your-online-business-wrap-1That’s a wrap!

In this 30-lesson course, I gave you a huge amount of knowledge about how to grow your online business.

Week 1: I covered how to make your website rock. Your website is the foundation of your online business, so you need to get it right.

Week 2: You got techniques for growing your email and social media lists, because the larger and more responsive your list, the more people you’ll be able to reach — and help — and the more money you’ll make.

Week 3: I discussed how to create products. I specialize in helping people like you who have service-based businesses, people who are trying to help other people, to add products. That means I can help you:

  • Expand beyond being a local business so you can reach people nationally and internationally, thus helping many more people
  • Create new streams of income that are more passive, so that you have more flexibility with your time. This allows you to spend more time with your family, travel, and just decide when you do what (How does that sound to you?)

Week 4: You learned how you can use events and partnerships to vastly grow your business.

What’s in your future?

So, what are you going to do next? Where are you going to go? Are you going to take your business to the next level?

I hope so and I invite you to complete my coaching application for a free 1/2-hour consultation during which we’ll discuss your goals and I’ll give you the steps to get there. Then we’ll discuss if coaching would help you move forward more quickly.

Here’s the coaching application..

Why coaching works

Research has shown that when people have someone to hold them accountable (about any goal), they are much more likely to succeed. Moreover, coaching will help you avoid pitfalls and ineffective choices (I know, I’ve made many of those) so that you progress much more quickly.
