I once read that 80% of Americans would like to write a book. But for those that complete that goal, the results are often not what they hoped. John Kremer, one of the top experts on marketing books and author of 1001 Ways to Market Your Books, says, “The average writer in my experience probably makes less than $100 a year in ebook sales.” And even at $1 per book, that’s only 100 books! social-media-marketing-for-dummies-coverMy friend, Phyllis Khare, has written Social Media Marketing For Dummies eLearning Kit and it was just published.

I asked Phyllis if I could interview her about the book. I was intrigued that it covered so many aspects of social media marketing and also by the CD, which offers the content in a video course format. (That’s why it’s called an eLearning Kit, not just a book.)

We got together in a joint video conference. The interview is under 9 minutes, so I hope you’ll watch! Phyllis talks about some of the high-impact, advanced tips that she included in the book.
